Mishmi hills are one of the most Scenic beauty of Mehao wildlife sanctuary in Arunachal Pradesh. This Sanctuary was established in 1980 over approximately 281.5 sq km. Rich in biodiversity, Mishmi hills is the ideal place for birdwatchers. Besides endemic birds, several eastern Himalayan species which are very difficult to locate in the region are easily sighted out here. Almost every bird lover wishes to visit at least once.
     In Mishmi hills, approximately around 6000 plants species, 100 species of mammals and 680 species of birds are found. The dense evergreen montane forest around Mishmi hills is considered the best biogeographical zone in the entire Himalayan range. Mishmi hills welcome you with the decorative ferns that not only carpet the forest but also sprout like umbrellas, chirping sound of birds, beautiful orchids, trees draped by giant creepers.
     The hills are divided into three altitudes i.e, the lower altitude nestled at ( 1,300m ) stretches from Roing to TiwariGaon, the middle altitude ( 2,655m) stretches from TiwariGaon to Coffee House and from Coffee House to Mayodia Pass ( 2,666m) of the Roing- Hunli - Anini Point.
     Mayodia means " Shrine of the mother goddess" in Deori - Chutia language. Mayodia Pass is about 60 km from Roing. Mayodia Pass is a great place for outing in Arunachal Pradesh where you can enjoy fully with snow in winter.
     Coffee house is a unique hotel where you can spend your valuable time with the breathtaking views of Mishmi hills. Coffee house is situated at approximately 3 Km before reaching Mayodia while going from Roing. For thrilling and chilling experience one should definitely stay for nights.
